Branding that reflects what’s real and ready.

Your brand identity doesn’t need to be louder. It needs to be more aligned, more intentional, and unmistakably yours. When strategy, design, and customer experience all reflect the same truth, your brand becomes both more trusted and more scalable.

At 5&Vine, we build brand identities that align from the inside out. From brand architecture and messaging, to visual identity systems, packaging, and customer journey design – we shape every expression to reflect your purpose, resonate with the people who matter, and build trust across every touchpoint.

Because when your brand feels cohesive and considered, it earns trust for the long haul.

From clarity to cohesion.
Build a brand that lands.

The 5&Vine System for Unmistakable Brands helps turn clarity into cohesive, considered brand expression. Whether you're evolving your identity or building from the ground up, we create visual systems that reflect your strategy and scale with integrity.

Diagnose the disconnect

We begin by listening closely – to your team, your customers, your category, and the signals in culture. We examine what’s missing, misaligned, or no longer resonating across your brand’s visual and experiential touchpoints. This is where we find the gap between who you are and how you’re showing up.

Identify your 5 Stones & Slingshot

Next, we translate strategy into the visual elements that define your brand: logo, typography, color, image style, and design principles. We build a flexible identity system rooted in what’s true – designed to land with the people who matter and scale as you grow.

Strike with precision

Finally, we activate your identity with cohesion across the key touchpoints – from packaging and website to social and brand guidelines. This is where expression meets execution. The brand feels lived-in, trusted, and unmistakably yours.

Cutting-edge visuals that break the norm

Brand guideline sheet showing Theia’s fonts, color palette, and a set of turquoise icons representing biomechanics, motion capture, and analysis tools.

Diagnose the disconnect

Through our research, we uncovered two critical flaws: First, the tech industry’s heavy reliance on sterile, clinical branding created an emotional void that left even groundbreaking innovations feeling cold. Second, within Theia’s own brand, their unique blue skeleton element – a symbol of precision and innovation – wasn’t being fully leveraged. We saw an opportunity to break away from generic industry norms and elevate Theia’s identity by transforming this underutilized asset into the heart of a bold, trust-driven brand system.

Identify your 5 Stones & Slingshot

We reinforced Theia’s signature blue color to boost brand recall and enriched the graphic system with textures and visual elements inspired by result graphs and the skeleton emblem. The logo was redesigned as an abstract representation of Theia’s product, with the neon blue line tracing the skeleton over the body. This helped us create a cohesive visual system around Theia’s signature brand element that people already knew.

Strike with precision

We identified the main graphic elements and used them to create textures for photography. Beyond that, we developed a photographic style with motion blur to reflect movement and incorporated the abstract skeleton from the logo into images with neon lines to highlight bodies in motion.

The new brand identity we created communicates Theia's core differentiator of “precision.” Theia's new brand is a dynamic visual system that comes to life in “Theia Mode” on-site. We also supported the team with a detailed checklist to ensure seamless brand implementation, and led pitch deck creation to win further investment.

Panettone packaging that tells a story

Colorful Seggiano panettone boxes with ribbons displayed alongside a Whole Foods holiday window installation.

Diagnose the disconnect

Despite 30+ years of pioneering sustainable Italian cuisine, Seggiano’s story wasn’t cutting through. The flaw? Their packaging didn’t reflect the craftsmanship, authenticity, and innovation that set them apart. Our research showed that customers loved the taste but didn’t fully understand what made Seggiano special. We seized this gap as our first move: overhauling Seggiano’s iconic Panettone packaging to tell a story that tradition alone couldn’t.

Identify your 5 Stones & Slingshot

Since packaging is the first touchpoint with consumers, we saw an opportunity to communicate every element that makes Panettone special in the cake packaging. It wasn’t just about creating new eye-catching packaging but about embedding Seggiano’s brand story and values into every detail. Our goal was to tell the story of Seggiano’s legacy in a way that honors tradition but speaks to the modern needs and aspirations of American customers.

Strike with precision

We wanted Panettone’s new holiday packaging to blend classic Italian art with festive colors while telling the brand’s story. This meant one thing: we had to show the real people behind the products–like Beniamino, the master baker behind Seggiano’s award-winning Panettone. With the new packaging, we turned abstract values into tangible visuals and a simple cake box into an authentic brand story.

The results? Whole Foods UK featured it in their holiday window & a single SKU became the inspiration for redesigning the entire packaging lineup.

Brand narrative reimagined for growth

Grid of REDU Materials marketing graphics featuring recycled waste and sustainability messages like "Where others see waste..."

Diagnose the disconnect

While many brands made broad sustainability claims, few connected those ambitions to tangible, relatable stories. The sustainability conversation had become aspirational but abstract. REDU’s strength – transforming 'Waste into Wonders' – offered a real, grounded alternative. We seized the opportunity to evolve the brand’s narrative and create a new slogan, 'Shaping a sustainable tomorrow from the remnants of yesterday,' anchoring REDU’s mission in authenticity and action."

Identify your 5 Stones & Slingshot

To position REDU Materials as a product line and material science innovator, we created a messaging framework that emphasized their core purpose of turning non-recyclable waste into valuable resources. We invested in terms like "weird waste" to educate consumers and created video content for social media and eCommerce platforms to showcase REDU’s process and engage stakeholders. We also redesigned REDU's website.

Strike with precision

Thanks to our partnership, REDU Materials launched with a strong brand identity and engaging static an video content, educating consumers on the wide range of products made from REDU materials and supporting a vision where waste is transformed into valuable resources. The new brand identity aligns with their long-term strategy, ensuring cohesion across the website, social media, and in-store tags and boosting brand recognition.

Brand FAQs

Creative agencies offer a spectrum of services to help businesses craft and refine their brand identities including branding strategy, naming & domain selection, visual identity design, marketing materials & content creation, and more.

At 5&Vine, we fuse creativity with strategy, ensuring that your brand not only stands out but also aligns seamlessly with your business goals.

The distinction between creative and marketing agencies lies in their core focus. Creative agencies specialize in the artistic elements of branding services, such as design, storytelling, and crafting a visual identity. On the other hand, marketing agencies focus on the marketing strategy, including market analysis, social media marketing, and digital strategies.

At 5&Vine, we bridge the gap between creative and strategic domains. Our team excels in both the creative and strategic realms, ensuring that your campaigns not only captivate your audience but also deliver results deeply rooted in a strategic foundation.

For any company, from startup to enterprise, hiring and supporting an in-house marketing team can be daunting. It requires recruiting, mentorship, salary negotiation, benefits, and more. Alternatively, partnering with a marketing agency provides a helpful solution for founders and CEOs. A marketing agency will help you build out your go-to-market strategy, bringing a wealth of insight to resonate with your target audience – without the extra responsibilities that come with building a fully in-house team.

Branding and design play a pivotal role in driving growth. As a top creative agency, we are well positioned as collaborators because of the following:

1) Expertise: Creative agencies bring specialized skills and knowledge to the table, encompassing design, branding, storytelling, and user experience. At 5&Vine, our expertise is strategic storytelling, crafting narratives that resonate and designs that leave a lasting impression.

2) Fresh Perspectives: Sometimes creativity requires distance from the problem (we know, we experience it too). A creative agency comes in with limited knowledge of the problem or internal biases, enabling a new perspective.

3) Integrated Solutions: Often there is not enough budget for in-house expertise in all the functions of marketing. Creative agencies offer end-to-end solutions by harmonizing creative thinking with strategic planning. This approach results in a cohesive brand identity and campaigns that are not only visually stunning but also deeply aligned with your business objectives.

4) Time and Cost Efficiency: Working with a creative agency can provide an external perspective to make the best use of time and budget by streamlining processes, reducing the need for multiple vendors, and executing campaigns efficiently.

We exist because we believe in an evolved form of capitalism where business is aligned with the long-term health of society and the planet. Our mission is to enable a new breed of startups to challenge the incumbents that perpetuate the status quo and be better - for the customers they serve, the employees that make that possible, the communities they are a part of, and the planet we all inhabit. The world needs more from us, now. And we’ve committed to passionately direct our talent in branding and strategy to create a more just and sustainable world for us all.

At 5&Vine, our expertise is strategic storytelling, whether that’s through a brand name, story or visual aesthetic. We have collaborated with many startups to create impactful brands including Woveo, Stellar, Answerable, Compliance Works, Trove, Bright Breaks, Commonly and more.

Our naming process involves a deep exploration of your brand's values, vision, and unique selling proposition. We conduct extensive research, brainstorming, and analysis to develop powerful names that encapsulate the essence of your brand.

To get rooted in your unique value proposition we ask questions like:

  • What is the essential value the brand provides and how is it improving the lives of its stakeholders and impacting the world in a positive way?
  • Who are your target customers? Where in their hierarchy of needs does the brand fit?
  • What are the moments of truth that reveal the severity of the problem that you solve?
  • What do potential customers love and hate about their current solutions? How will we address their pain points and in what ways are we also vulnerable to the same issues?

We also ask about any specific criteria like language compatibility, syllable constraints, domain name preferences and geographic operations.

Once we understand the brand and criteria we explore and recommend naming possibilities that we feel fit your business best alongside a rationale for each. We are responsible for a preliminary viability check but encourage legal counsel for final validation.

The timeline for a naming project completely depends on the scope of work. However, on average, it takes between four to six weeks to develop a robust brand identity that captures the essence of your business and connects with your audience.

Absolutely! We’ve worked with clients to research, qualify, and secure domain names that customers remember intuitively to help drive traffic to your new website. You will always retain full ownership over your domain.

We work with clients of various stages from startups to Fortune 500 in the following industries: Fashion, Fintech, Food & Beverage, Medtech, Proptech, Retail, SaaS, Smarthome, Subscription and Sustainability. Explore our work.
